Furniture New York is a non-profit organization whose mission is to unite, educate, and advance the furniture and furnishings community of the greater New York area. By fostering quality and creativity, we seek, to further our individual businesses and our industry as a whole.

Our membership is made up of designers, craftspeople, decorators, architects, teachers, and students. The topics of our programs range from business issues to materials and techniques to design and history.

Furniture New York will open a temporary gallery/showroom in DUMBO at 111 Front St., Gallery #204, for the month of October, featuring the work of 10 of its 60 member companies. The exhibit and sale will showcase the diversity of the organization's membership, introducing striking new designs in woods, metals, glass, fibers, and recycled materials, including tables, seating, case goods, lighting, and rugs.
