Iglooplay by Lisa Albin Iglooplay is a children's furniture collection that combines organic forms, ergonomics and a modernist sensibility playfully engaging both children and adults. The designs respond to the idea that child development flourishes from contact with sculptural shapes, color and material variation and incorporate bent plywood, hardwood veneers, resins and soft, upholstered foam. The furniture provides a safe sense of place for a child, enhances creativity through play and naturally folds into contemporary, everyday family life. Creativity drives the furniture design, rather than the furniture dictating the activity. Iglooplay's modern point of view embraces simplicity and quality and above all, respect for children. The collection earned a 2005 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum / Museum of Architecture and Design. The Mod Rocker was awarded honorable mention from the 2006 I.D. Magazine Annual Design Review. CONTACT INFO:
